Cumberland County Public Library is a private 501(c)3 non-profit institution governed by a Board of Trustees. Board meetings are announced on this web site and posted in the Library. Regular meetings are held on a quarterly basis.

Not sure where to start to find the information you need? Not sure how to make sense of what you have found? Please ask — that’s what we’re here for! CCPL has two full-time and one part-time staff, as well as many well-informed, friendly, helpful volunteers.
CCPL provides free high-speed internet access and Microsoft Office word-processing on eleven (11) public access PCs. The library also has wireless internet access available to those who have their own wireless-ready device.

Join the Friends!
The Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library are always looking for members! A tax exempt, not-for-profit organization made up of friends and neighbors who have joined together to support and promote the library as a vital resource in the county. There is one annual meeting, held in October of each year. Membership applications may be picked up at the library. The three types of yearly membership are:
Individual – $5.00
Family – $10.00
Business or Patron – $15.00
Stop by the library for a membership form. Your expertise and willingness to help are needed!
The library accepts donated books, movies, and audiobooks on CD in good condition. Items that do not suit the needs of the library are given to the Friends to sell at their booksale(s). The library cannot accept the following materials:
- Uncorrected Proofs
- VHS tapes
- Phone books
