Time: 10 – 11 AM – OR – 4 – 5 PM
Held on Wednesdays, this free four-session workshop will present basic skills about tracing your ancestors and the materials that are available. Participants can attend a morning or afternoon session, as the content will be the same. The first class will entail learning about the basics of genealogy and what information you need to have, while later classes will involve the use of online resources (such as Ancestry.com) as well as print materials that can be found in local or state libraries and museums. Additional time may be spent by participants using the library’s resources.
