There are lots of ways you can support your library!

Volunteer
Our library could not be operated without the services of many fine volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please stop by and fill out an application.

Join the Friends!
The Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library are always looking for members! A tax exempt, not-for-profit organization made up of friends and neighbors who have joined together to support and promote the library as a vital resource in the county. There is one annual meeting, held in October of each year. Membership applications may be picked up at the library. The three types of yearly membership are:

Individual – $5.00
Family – $10.00
Business or Patron – $15.00

Stop by the library for a membership form. Your expertise and willingness to help are needed!

Donate items
The library accepts donated books, movies, and audiobooks on CD in good condition. Items that do not suit the needs of the library are given to the Friends to sell at their booksale(s).

The library cannot accept the following materials:

• Magazines
• Textbooks
• Uncorrected Proofs
• Audiotapes
• VHS tapes
• Phone books
• Yearbooks

Donate from your Tax Returns
