Beanstack Summer Reading 2023

Cumberland County Public Library is proud to present their “Beanstack Summer Reading 2023″ Program All Together Now. The program will run from June 1 to July 31 with the final prize drawings to be held on August 1, 2023. There will be two additional drawings during the Summer Reading Program. The winners of all drawings will be notified and announced on this website.

The library will be utilizing the Beanstack Tracker app (available for computers and mobile devices) to keep track of all reading as well as the selection of all program prize winners. Individuals may keep track of their own reading (or their family’s reading) using Beanstack or can pick up and submit the reading program’s log sheets to have the reading time entered into the program by the library staff. To register using your computer:

Go to the Beanstack site by

• going to beanstack.org.
• click on the red Register button.
• click on the white “Find a Site” button.
• Type “Cumberland County Public Library” at the top of the screen where it says “Search for a site…” The search should bring up “Cumberland County Public Library (VA)” as a choice.
• Select the choice

You can register yourself and children in your household, as long as you will be doing the logging. If adults or teenagers will be doing their own logging, then they can sign up for their own accounts. Once you’ve finished registering, you will be able to sign up for 2023 Summer Reading Challenge.

The drawings will be held on the following days:

First Drawing:         June 20th

Second Drawing:    July 11

Final Drawing:         August 1

There will be a first, second and third place winner for all drawings. Winners of the drawings will receive an email notification. The winners will also be announced on the Library’s website.
